Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
What Is CSR?

The World Business Council for Sustainable Development in its publication "Making Good Business Sense" by Lord Holme and Richard Watts, used the following definition:

"Corporate Social Responsibility is the continuing commitment by business to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the local community and society at large"

Shepperton's commitment to CSR is shown in its vision, its business ethics and its four core values. Shepperton works with clients, employees and the broader community to further understand the impact of our actions and through this better understanding its aims to build mutually beneficial relationships. Fundamentally CSR should help progress the key capabilities and knowledge of Shepperton’s people to impact in a positive way.

Case Study

Shepperton has committed to donating 5% of all new revenue in 2010 to Cancer Research UK. As well as the financial commitment Shepperton will work on initiatives to raise more money. The first initiative is The 1% Club. This is a exclusive club for London businesses that are willing to donate at least 1% of their revenue to charities.
